My Business Partner – Grace

Wednesday, October 29th, 2008

Anyone visiting my home office has been warmly greeted by my friendly receptionist, Grace. Not your typical office worker, Grace is a golden retriever, just 3 years old. I added Grace to my life the same week I quit my last job and before I started my present business.  She was a replacement dog- to fill the void that emerged when my 4 year old Golden, “Kelly”  died in my arms after we discovered she had tumors on her heart.  I needed “Grace” and this new energy came to my life when I had time and motivation to tend to a puppy.  What a blessing.

Gracie loves people and she has a way of making my visitors feel welcome. She especially likes leaning on their feet when they come in. “Leaning” is how she absorbs energy and gets to know people. Most folks seem like Grace because she doesn’t jump or bark. Once she’s had a minute or so to do her greeting, I usually command her to “go away” – and she actually follows my command. Now that’s a good dog!

It’s kind of interesting that I have not yet had a visitor who didn’t like animals. I suppose that must be the Law of Attraction in full force. I can’t imagine life, and especially working from my home office (although now I also have a professional office) without Grace around.

Gracie is a constant companion, often sleeping at my feet. She doesn’t seem to mind when my chair runs over her tail or when I must ignore her. She’s quiet and patient, knowing that I usually don’t have time to walk or play during regular business hours.

Each day I am grateful for my silent 4-legged partner and for the way she makes me feel. This furry, friendly energy is an asset to my life and my business.

Shielding for Economic Resiliance (new audio affirmations)

Monday, October 27th, 2008

Today I made the mistake of listening to the radio and realized that I was hearing lots of toxic information about the world economy.  I developed this audio as a self treatment to help me feel safe amidst the fear in the world.  I also envision that these statements can help spread more safety to anyone who could use that.  Enjoy!

EFT Tapping for a Messy Desk (plus a new EFT audio)

Thursday, October 23rd, 2008

Today I will be departing for a few days up in Toronto to attend the Canadian Energy Psychology Conference.  I’ll be a workshop presenter too.  Because I crammed lots of stuff into this past week, my office is a disaster.  I promised myself I would clean it up before I hit the road, but right now I don’t seem to have the energy.

I realize that I can tap for this right now, and also share my statements with you.  Listen now and tap with me to enjoy the benefits of clearing clutter and finding clarity amidst chaos.  Enjoy!

A Busy Week with Choices (plus 3 min. EFT treatment Audio)

Monday, October 20th, 2008

It’s Monday morning and I am realizing how full the week ahead is already.  I found myself getting worried before the day even began.  My mind was racing with thoughts of not getting enough done, not being ready and wasting time on the wrong things.

“STOP THAT! ”  How can I let my crazy mind ruin an otherwise very nice, productive day.

At that point, I went into my sunroom and meditated quietly for about 10 minutes to clear my mind, then tapped to some affirmation statements.  I sure felt better after that and noticed a beautiful sunrise forming on the horizon.  The day ahead looks nicer now after allowing my energy to shift to a better place.

Want to boost your energy for a busy week?  Here’s an audio with a quick 3.5 minute EFT treatment sequence you can tap along with:

Changing Thoughts

Sunday, October 12th, 2008

“No great improvements in the lot of mankind are possible until a great change takes place in their mode of thought.”    John Stuart Mills

I saw this quote today and it spoke to me as truth and also helps me to understand my own purpose a little better.  I’ve been on a mission to keep track of my own thoughts in a deliberate way.  I think I’ve gotten better at it over time, yet I am human.

Today’s financial fears and economic worries are being broadcast widely.  My husband and I were just discussing how each day the words used to describe the economic situation become more and more outrageous and dramatic – “downslide”, “catastrophe”, “bloodshed”, “doom”, “alarm” – and more each morning with the front page, TV and radio.  I’ve decided to turn it off and tune it out.  I don’t need this kind of mass media influence poluting my thoughts.

This ”sea of human worry thought” seems to be exerting a powerful pressure on mankind and I am not immune to its influence even when I tune it out.  The vibrations remain, particularly to energy sensitive people like myself.  What can be done to change that?

Peace begins with each of us, then travels outward.   We can catch ourselves with a fearful thought.  There is always something there we can be grateful for instead.  Deliberate thought can become a powerful habit – first catching a negative thought, then choosing to grab a better thought.

Action step:  This week, catch yourself speaking or thinking something that opposes true prosperity.   Ask yourself what this is about.  Accept that you’re experiencing a negative thought.  Next, choose a new thought that expresses higher ground.  This can be a statement of appreciation, affirmation or pure recognition of beauty in whatever form speaks best to your heart.  If it is difficult to find this thought – prepare a list of “favorite things” from your memory bank.  This list of what you love can include your favorite color, song, place, face and activity.  These are always available to you as appropriate vehicles for shifting your thought vibration.  These are the thoughts that allow you to attract more prosperity.

You deserve to have pleasant thought.  Choose well and spread a higher vibration to the world around you.  You can make a positive difference now.

Accept and Expect

Thursday, October 2nd, 2008

Accept and Expect are two very powerful words.  They are very much part of EFT tapping protocol and the philosophy behind the Law of Attraction.  Are you using them effectively?

Integrating acceptance and expectation into your meditation, prayer, creativity or journaling process will bring immediate rewards.  I urge you to give it a try by following these seven basic guidelines:

1.  Accept what is going on now and also what has already happened.  It is!  It happened.  Now it is OVER too.

2.  Be honest about your worries, pain, emotions and troubles – admit them all.  As uncomfortable emotions, physical sensations and feelings come up, feel them and be present with them.  That is part of the acceptance process.

3.  Use the EFT set-up language as you become aware of problems and negative feelings

“Even though this happened/I have this problem, I deeply and completely accept myself now” (repeating 3 or more times).  Then follow with “I choose ____ instead” and tap the EFT treatment points while focusing on a short reminder phrase symbolic of your problem.

I have observed that using simple acceptance statements like the one above clears a space in the energy system for something better.  That’s when expectations begin play an important role.

4.  Expect the Best – and be specific about what that means to you.

Use your journal or a daydreaming process to create a list of expectations.  “In a perfect world I expect ……”

5. Tell people what they can expect from you – then deliver upon your promise.

6.  Share your expectations with others so you share a common understanding of each other’s goals and values.

7.  Keep your expectations optimistic.   Every negative statement can be changed into a positive affirmation.  If in doubt about how to do this, feel free to send me one of your negative statements and I’ll transform it for you.

Note:  If optimism is difficult for you, go back to #1-3 above and treat yourself for those negative or limiting beliefs.

Enjoy knowing that you are creating in the physical dimension under the Universal Law of Attraction when using the 7 steps above.  Pay attention to what happens and share your stories of success with everyone you meet.
